Office and Morning Blues!

Live the life by loving storms too!

Oh my god! It’s Monday again and even after extended weekend I don’t wanna work!! This is the sentence that crosses most of our minds even after doing nothing for complete weekend and still the start of the work week triggers overwhelming feelings inside.

Well, its kind of understandable and to be honest it doesn’t even matter whether we are working from home or from office, it’s common to not celebrate Monday cheer after break or feel anxious or stressed seeing the pile of work waiting for the next day. I think it’s not about that we don’t love the job or the project which we are working on, but it’s more about the monotony that sets in after some time and we start dreading the workdays. Initially, when I joined I was so super-hyper-active with all this cheer and euphoric feeling and all lively but after some point of time it’s like reality sets in and I think we lose that euphoria and let ourselves being lost in the mess of time.

It’s okay to feel like that, to be anxious. I mean, no one can be happy at all time, everyone needs change and new things to explore themselves, maybe new projects, since the basic cause of these blues is the monotony that sets in and then we feel like we are a machine bound to repeat the cycle of meetings and work all over again. I can’t say that the way of getting over this is that stop being moody and work but I will say take break sometimes, either in the form of vacations, tv series or friends. Like one of my friend she says “I am so depressed that I need a vacation from work”, I won’t normally use the word depressed because its too strong for this context but I would I feel what she says once in a while. It’s like somedays even thinking about work on Sunday, gives me dread and I recall telling my friend that how much I need a break, like I am getting pre-Monday blues too xD.

So its okay to be tired after the weekends, not all of them doesn’t do the trick to rejuvenate, I can think of so many reasons, you see but at the end no of this matters when we aren’t happy and refreshed. So, it would be okay to say that its best to make Monday or any other weekday as fun day and planning for the unplanned and just at the end just trying to be enjoying and focusing what we are working on, since essentially focus is freedom in today’s scenario.

But yes, watch Netflix/ YouTube, they are survival hacks!! Better luck next week though!!
